What are the IOPS and Read/Write Values of the Created Disks?"
As SkyAtlas, we provide disk services through a storage system with 2 backups. Our service includes IOPS and read/write values specifically planned for different disk sizes. You can find the details below:
IOPS Values
- Up to 20 GB Disks:
- Minimum 200 IOPS (Separately for Read and Write)
- Above 20 GB Disks:
- Increase of 10 IOPS per GB
- Maximum IOPS value: 2000 (Separately for Read and Write)
Read/Write Byte Values
- Up to 20 GB Disks:
- Minimum 200 MB (Separately for Read and Write)
- Above 20 GB Disks:
- Increase of 10 MB per GB
- Maximum value: 400 MB (Separately for Read and Write)
Note: The maximum IOPS value is set to 2000 for both read and write operations.
Example Calculations
Example 1: 40 GB Disk
- IOPS: 200 + (30 - 10) = 500 IOPS
- Read/Write: 200 MB + (20 - 10) = 400 MB
Example 2: 100 GB Disk
- IOPS: 200 + (80 - 10) = 1000 IOPS
- Read/Write: 200 MB + (80 - 10) = 1000 MB
Info
Please note that as the disk size increases, IOPS, and read/write values also increase proportionally.
